$\frac{1}{2}+\frac{3}{4}$

$1.) \frac{1}{2}+\frac{3}{4}=\frac{1x4+2x3}{2x4}=\frac{4+6}{8}=\frac{10}{8}=\frac{5}{4}=1\frac{1}{4}$

$2.) \frac{3}{5}-\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3x2-5x1}{5x2}=\frac{6-5}{10}=\frac{1}{10}$
